Give yourself a Christmas treat by visiting the Baden-Baden Christmas Market between 24 November and 23 December 2014.

A daily live programme on the open air stage, which changes daily, will entertain you with different performers, bands, choirs and other artists. Take a stroll along “Church Window Alley” and “Fairytale Alley”, or visit a live nativity scene with donkeys and lambs. Another highlight of the Christmas Market is the arrival of Saint Nicholas in a hot air balloon on December 6.

Some 100 plus beautifully decorated stalls are there to tempt you with their arts and crafts as well as many culinary delights. A glass of mulled wine will get you into the holiday spirit and inspire you to find that unique gift for that special someone.

You can enjoy the pre-Christmas spirit by strolling through Baden-Baden’s festively decorated streets and soak up the atmosphere of the Christmas Market, open daily from 11.00a.m. to 9.00p.m.  It is situated against the impressive backdrop of the theatre and Kurhaus.

Whilst there you can also take relaxing walks in the crystal clear Black Forest air and include a visit to the Caracalla Thermal Bath which will add to the enjoyment of the festive period.

At night Germany’s oldest casino with its magnificent interior may well tempt you to try your luck at the roulette table.
