Starting 20 November Hyde Park will transform into Winter Wonderland for the following six weeks of winter festivities with Free Admission and a range of entertainment. The event runs from the evening opening on 20 November 2015 through to 3 January 2016.

Favourite attractions making a welcome return include Santa Land, a haven for young visitors where Father Christmas will be every day with his Elves.  Meeting Santa is free and children receive a small gift. An official photographer will be taking souvenir shots that are available to buy on the day, but you can also take your own photos if you prefer.   For Christmas shoppers, there’s the traditional German Christmas market with over 200 chalets. The Angels Christmas Market offers unusual and handmade gifts and crafts, including ceramics, candles, jewellery, wooden toys, nativity scenes and Christmas decorations.

Bring cash: Rides and attractions are accessed by tokens, which cost £1 each and are available at the token booths dotted around the site and cannot be bought in advance. Children’s rides start at £2, while other rides start at £3.

The popular Bavarian Village will be ready to serve bratwurst and mulled wine whilst hosting live music throughout the day and evening. In addition to the many restaurants and bars there will be delicious food available throughout the attraction to warm you up on a cold winter’s day. For the thrill-seekers, there will be an array of traditional and high energy rides.

Tickets are now on sale for: Ski Zillertal Ice Rink, The Magical Ice Kingdom, Bar Ice, Giant Observation Wheel and Zippos Circus.

Magical Ice Kingdom will host fantastic snow and ice sculptures. This year children and adults are invited to walk through the fairy forest to discover a frozen lake and the ice queen, explore the ice palace, sit on the thrones and slide down the castle slide.

Bar Ice an intimate ice bar where you enter the Arctic environment with handcrafted bar, tables, walls and sculptures that glisten with ice.

Ski Zillertal Ice Rink will again be located around the picturesque Victorian Bandstand, on which there will be live music played throughout the day and night as skaters take to the ice. For those who want to gaze at the action from above, the Giant Observation Wheel will illuminate the skyline.

Zippos Circus returns with two shows – their popular daytime show for all the family, Zippos Christmas Circus – The Perfect Gift and an evening show for older thrill seekers, Cirque Berserk.  Housed in the Mega Dome, the biggest circus venue in the UK standing over 65ft tall designed especially for Winter Wonderland.

All the entertainment is outdoors so visitors are advised to ensure that they bring warm clothing
